The SAFe Product Owner and Product Manager course covers roles in the Agile Release Train (ART), and gives guidance with tools to work effectively in remote environments amongst distributed teams.
End goal of this course enables participants best perform the role of a PO and a PM toward putting the customer at the center of respective project design, build, and test processes, prepare for and lead PI Planning, decompose Epics to Features and Features to Stories and collaborate with Agile teams to forecast work. These include How POs and PMs plan and execute work during a PI, integrate a customer-centric mindset to deliver products customers want, connect Lean-Agile principles and values.
This certification is for anyone who interfaces with stakeholders or works as a Product Owner in a Scrum Team or Project Managers.
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, Applicants must go through at least the SCRUM Fundamental Certified program to have a basic knowledge before enrolling.
